Houston Astros Capitalize on Miscues to Secure Victory

The Houston Astros rallied late to defeat the Kansas City Royals 6-3 on Wednesday night, capitalizing on two costly errors in the eighth inning.

With the game tied 3-3, the Astros loaded the bases with one out. A throwing error by Royals shortstop Nicky Lopez allowed two runs to score, giving Houston a 5-3 lead.

Chas McCormick followed with an RBI single to extend the lead to 6-3. The Astros bullpen held on in the ninth to secure the victory.

Astros Offense Comes Alive in Eighth

The Astros offense struggled for much of the game, managing just three hits through the first seven innings. However, they erupted for four runs in the eighth to take the lead.

Royals Errors Prove Costly

The Astros bullpen was solid in relief of starter Lance McCullers Jr., who allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings.
